I keep coming back to this site, interesting.

Been a long time...time to rebuild and start from new I suppose. Haven't sketched in years now, but who knows, maybe I'll start again someday. My time with my job has been spent writing stories, creating videos and photographing for the U.S. Navy, and when I get home I'm usually pretty exhausted. I am, however, trying to get out of my rut and start creating my own content again. Hope all is well with you, my old friends.

Long time no sea!

Haha...because...you know...I've been out at sea this whole time? :D?

Oy anyways. Not much has happened since the last journal. Got married. Deployed to the middle east...husband also deployed to the middle east, I'm spending the rest of the year on this broken carrier, life is great!

SO! Anyways, in the last several years, I've drawn less and less (less time and inspiration; military kills your soul btw), however I have picked up photography. It is after all my current occupation!

Woo, so, due to the incredibly poor, poor internet out there in the desert and the hottest most depressing body of water on the planet (sorry guys, 158 degrees? No thanks), I have not be able to get much internet if at all, and any bandwidth I had went to staying in touch with family.

But I've been back stateside for a bit...work has just been incredibly taxing and I've spent, no kidding the better part of three years well...at sea.

So, in addition to taking back sketching, I will post some of my better photos I took on deployment periodically as well as photos I've captured with my own camera. I personally own a D610, but work with a D800 for my ship (photo and video work). Most photos taken during OIR (Operation Inherent Resolve) were shot with a D3s (better gear for most high visibility operations ya feel).

All photos taken with U.S. Navy equipment will be labeled as such, and are free for use as I do not own the rights, the U.S. Government does. My own photos will likewise be labeled, and not so much free for use, not that they're that good anyways.

But, it's time for me to go, and send my daily email to my husband for theee....almost 17th month in a row. I guess they say good things come to those who wait.

Looking forward to getting in touch with this place and fellow Deviants again. Been a long, long time.

Good Evening Folks!

    Ahh, it's been quite a while. Well, let me fill you in.

    I've been quite the busy bee. Since I last got on, I moved out of my dad's house and began working several jobs and living with my grandmother. Hence the complete lack of updates.

    Once I graduated high school, I continued to work until September 23rd of 2013, and after spending 11 or so months in the Delayed Entry Program, I went of to Great Lakes, Illinois for US Navy Boot Camp.

    Upon graduating boot camp, I went on to my technical school at Fort George G. Meade, Md. to train to become a Mass Communication Specialist. I've been doing that the last five or so months, and let me tell you, this six month school is damn hard. They've crammed about two years worth of public affairs, photography, newswriting, video, and multimedia and production college classes into six months.

    I get my orders to my ship sometime next week, and really wanted to re-enter the DeviantART realm again. I miss this place. Really do.

    So there you have it, the last 2 and a half years of my life. Might write some more journals too, we'll see :P

Blurry Vision.

Anyone ever put in a new contact and it keeps blurring? Or burns? Gaaah it sucks!! Oh well! Anywhoo

Ummm...yeah...haven't drawn in a while...all summer and fall...and early winter. It's kinda weird, but, happens I guess. Life's been less than pleasant haa. I haven't even checked up on the site since March! Sorry bout that :s

Been a slave to procrastination as well...instead of doing anything I been creeping on my friends and watching their youtube vids....not...stalkerish.......at all...and I watched a lot of movies...and tv.....ohhhh my life.

BUT, in that time of being a couch potato/loser/insert lame title here, I saw the opening credits for The Legend of Korra...and lemme say. Hell YES! Gotta dust off my A:TLA dvds and rewatch that series...maaaaan has it been a long time.

I remember being like, iono, 12, and hearing about all these 16 year old girls having babies, and thinking, wtf that's not true, people just be making that stuff up. And now I'm 16, and everyone's pregnant, or worse. Wtfffff is this worrrrrld??? I'm still a little kiddd D:  I'm too young to be an aunt/godmother/2nd aunt twice removed.

So I'm definitely going to make a better effort to try and update this account more, and spend less time on facebook, oooomg facebook....yikes.

Thoughts and prayers with all victims of the earthquake and tsunami. My heart aches thinking about it. Especially since I woke up to a snow day on the 11th, complaining of all things, because now I have to make up school in the summer or during another break. Anyways I have a huge respect for everyone aiding in the relief efforts, and I can only wish that things can only get better from this point on. I know it won't, but one can always hope right?

I watched Tangled for this first time this last weekend (omg my love for Zachary Levi is tremendous I love that man so much :drool: )

Also I have been watching Young Justice as much as I can. I must say, it's no Avatar, but I do like it very much :D

And I have OGT (Ohio Graduation Testing?) tomorrow and every morning the rest of this week, meaning I should be in bed....but...everything on the internet has suddenly become so very interesting...whyyyD:
